Numeracy

In today’s changing world, children must be flexible, adaptable and above all, problem solvers and lifelong learners. Mathematics is an essential part of everyday life; we believe that students need to experience an appropriate selection of learning experiences throughout their schooling so that they develop positive attitudes and a confident approach to the learning and application of mathematical ideas.

Children are encouraged to develop a deep understanding of numbers and how they can be manipulated through direct teaching and problem-solving. There is an emphasis on knowledge of numbers and also the different strategies that can be used to arrive at an answer.

We aim to make our learning fun and meaningful!
